Already as a small child I was inspired to play music actively. It is wonderful that today I enjoy the privilege of sharing my passion for music and skill on the recorder with an audience alongside outstanding musicians and friends.
PLAYING THE FLUTE IS LIKE BREATHING MUSIC
After studies in Vienna, Zurich and Freiburg im Breisgau, I began my career as a concert flutist and teacher. What makes me particularly happy is that I am described by the press as "open-minded, innovative and interesting" and in the meantime I am known for my soft sound.
I have won prizes and awards at international competitions. Invitations to international concerts and festivals have led me all over Europe to Russia and Japan and the ensemble "Accademia dell' Arcadia Turicum", which I founded, regularly celebrates great successes.
As a chamber musician I work with renowned ensembles such as the Zurich Chamber Orchestra, the Moscow Baroque Soloists, I Barrochisti, the Vienna Boys Choir, and the Basel Chamber Orchestra. As a member of the ensemble "Les Musiciens du Prince-Monaco", which was founded by Cecilia Bartoli, I play in opera productions throughout Europe and also perform regularly as a soloist with renowned members of the orchestras "Europa Galante", the "Accademia Bizantina", "Il Giardino Armonico", "Il Pomo d'Oro" and the "Amsterdam Baroque Soloists". Concert recordings have been broadcast on television and radio.
CD recordings have been released by TYXart, Novalis, Berlin Classics, harmonia mundi france, Sony BMG and hänssler classics.
The activity as a lecturer and professor at masterclasses, as a juror at international competitions and as an expert for recorder at music academies throughout Europe complement my work and give me great pleasure.
In 2016, as Artistic Director, I founded the festival "Ausseer Barocktage", which has been described as "a festival at the highest level" by the press . In 2017, the "International Masterclasses Baroque" were launched by me in the Kartause Gaming, which once a year have become an important meeting place for musicians from up to 24 countries. With my family I live Zurich.

Together with my husband, my three children and our Golden Retriever Aysha I live in Zurich and Grundlsee.
High altitude mountaineering - Ski touring
Trekking in the Himalayas, in the Andes, in the high Alps lets me regenerate and find new creativity. Climbing through the crunching snow on skis in winter - I wouldn't want to do without that!

As a balance to being a musician on stage, I have acquired a great competence in the field of web design / design. So I take over orders from external companies in the field of marketing once in a while and am having a lot of fun with this task as well!
